New changes in the HPAS examination scheme

Negative marking has been introduced for the all MCQs in both parts of the preliminary examination. For every three wrong answers given by the student, marks one right answer will be deducted as a penalty which means there are 1/3rd negative marking.

Sometimes students used to mark more than one options for a single question. To check this problem now that question will be regarded as wrong no matter if one of the marked options is right and this question will also be included for negative marking.

If a question was left untouched by a student, in that case, there will be no negative marking.
